Beach Manufacturing Pool Tables
By admin on April 5, 2008
Hello, I have been looking at some used pool tables and have found two in my area that look nice, but I cannot find much information about the manufacturer or pricing. Can someone advise me on purchasing a Beach Manufacturing pool table, in particular the "Marquez" model ($1200) or "Valencia" ($2400), both in 8ft? Thank you in advance.

American Heritage Pool Table
By admin on March 31, 2008
I was wondering if anyone has actually played on an American Heritage table. All reviews I see only mention that it is not built in the USA. Well, considering how much of our everyday items are built outside the USA, that isn't my main concern. Does anyone know how they play or how durable they are. They are hardwood with 1 inch slate, I am assuming that isn't a bad thing.
Thanks in advance

Folding Legs pool table
By admin on March 12, 2008
First off I'm new to the forum here and I love Pool!!! I can't have one in my house because there is just not enough room and I can't get enough of pool. My ONLY option is a folding legs pool table that can be setup whenever I need it. My questions is how good these thing actually are. Just thinking of a pool table with folding legs sounds wrong to begin with. I would imagine bumping it would screw everything up and i doubt it would be level. Any first hand experience about these and advice for which to get or if to get one in the first place? Thanks for any help.

Possible to Add Gully Return to Brunswick Metro?
By admin on March 12, 2008
Hello all - I recently purchased a lightly used 8' Brunswick Metro and noticed on Brunswick's website that the table can be ordered with a gully return.
Does anyone know if the gully return can be added after the fact? If so, any suggestions on where to order the necessary parts at a reasonable price?
Thanks!

Brunswick Wabash Pool Table
By admin on March 7, 2008
I'm trying to find out information regarding a pool table that has been passed down in our family. It is a Brunswick Wabash. I'd appreciate any information that anyone can provide. I was told by a restoration business that it was probably from the mid 1920s to early 30s; however the rails are Brunswick Monarch with a date of 1918 on them. The Brunswick web-site has it posted but with no information.

Value of 8 ft Brunswick Celebrity Model HY?
By admin on February 16, 2008
Can I get some suggestions on how to determine the value and opportunity to sell a 1966 8f Brunswick Celebrity Model HY? It's a home billiard table that's in great shape. We're only the second owner in 42 years, and the first owner lives a few doors down, so I know it's been well cared for. We're just empty nesters now and are re-doing our family room.
Any idea what's a good price? It's a one-piece slate top with automatic ball return, all the balls and cues, owner's manual, etc. It also has something of a "retro" look. It's a sleek white metal table with stainless steel trim and a gold colored cloth and rails. Very '60's!

el cheapo pool table question
By admin on February 11, 2008
Ive been wanting a pool table so i could practise (so my friends would quit kicking my butt at the pool halls). so i got ahold of a havard pool table. i know it may not be a real pool table but was wondering if i could make it to where the balls roll better on the table. it seems like the cue ball kinda roams around when it slows down. ive leveled it but i may need to do a little more adjusting. im a complete newbie at this so any advice or help would be appreciated.
here is a picture of what im talking about, i got an extremely good deal on it so i couldnt pass it up

I Re-Covered My Own Table
By admin on February 10, 2008
Hi everyone!
Just thought i would pop in and say that as a biker i still love my pool and snooker.
Recently slipped the cue and damaged the cloth though- OUCH!
Called in a pro recoverer and i nearly fainted at the cost so i done a hunt round the www and found this
Download cost next to nothing!
I recovered my table in about 3- hours- not bad for a rookie!
Anyway i saved a bundle- just thought if any of you guys out there have a table and need a new cloth and dont know how to do it- give the guys at "easy snooker" a go!
YOU WONT BE SORRY YOU DID
