Hello all,

I just started looking through your forum and read some very helpful threads on cue tips and now I wanted to address a unique (probably not) problem that I have with my 8′ pool table.

Both my side pockets and one corner pocket have a high frequency of the ball hitting the back leather liner and popping back out on to the table… The ball does not physically go down into the pocket, then bounce up and come out. This happens most often when i am playing low-English to get a strait draw.

My guess is that somehow the pocket, when it was installed or built was not angled correctly… Is there a way to adjust the pocket so the ball goes down into the pocket rather then popping strait out?
