Ive been looking for a resonable priced used table for a good while now and I have finally found one, but the problem is I have never really heard of the brand but I am not a billards expert so I really need some help deciding if the table is worth what is bieng asked for it and if it is even a quality table. The table is a Mazerak Chicagoen 8 foot, comes with 2 sets of balls, 1 eight ball rack, 1 9 ball rack, 8 sticks, stick tips, cue chalk and hand chalk for $600 or best offer.
Ive spoken with the seller over the phone and asked him if it is slate or wood and he replied honestly that he didnt know but it has a wooden bottom with a notched hole that he has put his hand through and he said it felt like slate to him. I am really interested in this table but I would really like some information about it, so I would apreciate it greatly if anyone could answer this question for me.
I have found a few like this one for sale on various sites, ranging in price from $200 to $700 with no real information in the descriptions.
So, is this table worth the price or should I avoid and wait for something else?
